As reported by Yahoo News, a man threw a Molotov cocktail at Sam Altman’s San Francisco home around 4 a.m. today, April 10, 2026. He fled the scene and was later apprehended outside of OpenAI’s office building, where he was threatening to burn the building down.
"We deeply appreciate how quickly SFPD responded and the support from the city in helping keep our employees safe," OpenAI said in a statement. "We're assisting law enforcement with their investigation."
