Rabbi Levi Matusof, Chabad-Lubavitch representative to the European Institutions, met again with Argentina’s President Javier Milei in Paris during Argentina Week, just days after their meeting last week at the Ohel of the Rebbe in New York.
Argentina Week brought together senior Argentine government officials, provincial governors, investors and leading business executives from Argentina, France and around the world.
With the gathering taking place during Sukkos, Rabbi Matusof used the opportunity to bring the mitzvah of Lulav and Esrog to Jewish participants, enabling business leaders and other attendees who had traveled from Argentina and around the world to perform this special mitzvah of Sukkos.
President Milei himself shared the photo of him embracing Rabbi Matusof. The song he picked to play in the background of the post was Reb Levik’s Niggun, which Lubavitchers dance to during Hakafos on Simchas Torah.
Many Argentine participants spoke warmly of their connection with Rabbi Tzvi Grunblatt, Head Shliach of Argentina, and the extensive work of Chabad-Lubavitch in Buenos Aires and throughout the country.
Rabbi Matusof also congratulated his longtime friend, Argentina’s Ambassador to France Ian Sielecki, on the success of Argentina Week and for bringing together such a significant gathering of government and business leaders in Paris.
The gathering provided another opportunity to strengthen Jewish connections and bring the spirit and mitzvos of Sukkos to an international forum attended by leaders from the worlds of government and business.
