The work known as Baad Kodesh was published by Kehot in Brooklyn in 1946 under supervision of the Rebbe who prepared the text for publication. The unique text is actually a letter written by the Mitteler Rebbe to the governor of Vitebsk and in it the Mitteler Rebbe explains the idea of governmental power according to chasidus.

Rabbi Shais Taub’s weekly chasidus shiur at Chabad of the Five Towns began unpacking this unique text the day after the election last week.
