The Farbrengen Retreat is excited to announce the official addition of Shalom Conecoff to its growing staff team.

The Farbrengen Retreat works with Lubavitcher bochurim who grew up in the system but have since found themselves struggling with Yiddishkeit, addiction, or other personal challenges. Through immersive retreats, uplifting Shabbatons, and year-round mentorship, the organization provides a welcoming environment where these young men can reconnect with their neshamos, rediscover their strengths, and build a meaningful relationship with Hashem, Torah, and Chassidus.

After participating in several retreats and developing strong relationships with many of the participants, Conecoff is now taking the next step by joining the organization as an official staff member.

In his new role, he will meet regularly with participants between programs to learn, farbreng, and build lasting personal connections. He will also help coordinate logistics for Shabbatons and retreats, assist with renovations on The Farbrengen Retreat’s newly acquired property, and expand the organization’s year-round outreach efforts so that even more bochurim can receive the support and encouragement they need.

“Shalom fits this shlichus like a glove,” shares Rabbi Gavriel Kollin, founder of The Farbrengen Retreat. “The guys genuinely love him, and I couldn’t be more excited to have him officially on the team. His warmth, sincerity, and dedication make him a natural fit for this work, and together we’ll continue reaching more bochurim, helping them reconnect with their neshamos, and bringing Moshiach one step closer.”

Conecoff shared his excitement about joining the team:
