BINTANGOR (Oct 25): The Meradong District Office recently held a District Action Committee (DAC) meeting to review the status of ongoing projects and discuss proposals for new projects planned for the district.

Among the implementing agencies involved were the Maradong-Julau District Council (MDMJ), Public Works Department (JKR) Sarikei, Land and Survey Department (JTS) Sarikei, Drainage and Irrigation Department (DID) Sarikei, Rural Water Supply Department (JBALB) Sarikei, and Sarawak Rivers Board (LSS) Sarikei.

During the meeting, Meradong assemblyman Datuk Ding Kuong Hiing called upon the Rural Transformation Programme (RTP) project implementing agencies to expedite the approval of documents, in view of the year-end approaching.
