The Advisor in the Sarawak Premier’s Office for food industry, commodity and regional development also praised the close cooperation between the council members and scout commissioners who have significantly contributed to organising various scouting activities and programmes throughout the year.

He acknowledged that good collaboration between all parties has played a major role in the successful organisation of activities that foster the spirit of leadership, cooperation, and skills among Sarawak scouts.

“I would like to express my heartfelt appreciation to all those involved in ensuring that the Sarawak scout movement continues to thrive. This collaboration needs to continue, and I hope this will bring greater success in the future,” said Mawan.

He also called for the Sarawak scout movement to adopt the latest technology, such as artificial intelligence in the organisation of scouting programmes.

“The SSC will continue to play an important role in shaping the character and leadership of the young generation in the state. With strong support from all parties, the Sarawak scout movement will continue to move forward and produce more versatile young leaders,” said Mawan, who is Pakan assemblyman.
