Two killed, four injured as car skids off road
by The Borneo Post · Borneo Post OnlineKINABATANGAN (Oct 31): A boy and a teenage girl were killed while four other persons suffered injuries when the Perodua Aruz car they were traveling in skidded off the road at Mile 32 Bukit Garam here yesterday.
Kinabatangan fire and rescue station chief Nurul Azlan Shah Bin Jamalludin said the boy, aged 10, and the teenage girl died at the scene in the 5.15pm incident.
The other four injured victims, aged six to 53, were taken to hospital for treatment and their condition was reported to be stable.
Azlan said seven fire and rescue personnel rushed to the scene after receiving a distress call at 5.20pm.
Fire and rescue personnel took several minutes to free the two victims from the vehicle and the bodies were handed to the police for further action before the operation ended at 7.13pm.
