Pasai Siong’s Methodist Iban Church receives RM450,000 from Unifor to improve facility

SIBU (Nov 16): The Methodist Iban Church in Pasai Siong received a substantial RM450,000 from the Sarawak government today, facilitated through the Unit for Other Religions (Unifor).

This financial support is intended to assist the church in its ongoing efforts to improve its facilities and better serve the community.

The cheque was presented by Bawang Assan assemblyman Dato Sri Wong Soon Koh, who is also senior president of the Progressive Democratic Party (PDP).

He handed over the cheque on behalf of Unifor in a ceremony attended by various community leaders.

Accompanying him were Bawang Assan chairman Councillor Wong Hua, Soon Koh’s personal assistant Sean Wong, Penghulu Ngian Lee Ping, and Kapitan Hii Toh Tieng.
