As search for man who fell from Kuching bridge enters second day, cops say probing incident

Firefighters, police personnel, and members of the public are seen on the bridge yesterday.

KUCHING (Nov 1): Police are investigating the incident involving a 34-year-old man who is believed to have fallen from Tan Sri Sulaiman Daud bridge into Sungai Maong yesterday.

Kuching police chief ACP Mohd Farhan Lee Abdullah confirmed that the police have received reports on the incident involving the victim identified as Aliff Fadzree Azlam.

Mohd Farhan called on those with information on the incident to contact the Kuching District Police Headquarters control centre on 08224444.

Alternatively, the public can also contact Gita police station acting chief SM Henrix Christopher Ber on 0135630098.

A diving team has been deployed to assist with the search and rescue operation for the victim, which entered its second day today.
