Hailey Bieber x Gap's Denim Collab Is Exactly What Fans Wanted

Hailey Bieber must’ve cracked the code on life, because she’s found both—love with her global pop icon husband and a denim that’s consistently reliable.

In case you missed, like, all of her paparazzi pics from last summer, the Rhode founder has quietly been making her obsession for Gap jeans known. In fact, she wore The Low Rise '90s Loose style so often, they were impossible to track down in almost every size. Now, she’s making the relationship official. Bieber is dropping an entire denim capsule with the brand that reimagines its most iconic denim through Hailey’s personal style lens.

The limited-edition collab, officially dubbed The Hailey Jean, dropped this morning and includes the same silhouettes she wears IRL. Think: relaxed and confident, with a late ’90s attitude.

”Gap has been a part of my wardrobe since I was a kid, so this came together very organically,” Bieber said in the announcement. “1996 was the year I was born, and I get a lot of style inspiration from the ’90s because there was something so effortless about that era and the way people wore denim. We wanted the campaign and the collection to capture that same feeling in a way that felt modern, nostalgic, and personal.”

The capsule features two fits, both rooted in Hailey’s laid-back style approach: the Extra Baggy, which is inspired by the decade’s men’s collection, and ‘90s Low Rise Loose—both with updated silhouettes, custom washes, and a “1996” pocket detail and her signature in the lining. Chic! Both styles come in three different washes each and are crafted from 100% cotton rigid denim, so they break in over time for the coziest, cool fit.
