There’s Growing Evidence That MSG Is a Ruse and Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s Wedding Is Elsewhere
· CosmopolitanAt this point even the New York Times is reporting that Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s wedding is taking place at Madison Square Garden tomorrow, July 3. And there’s a lot of evidence, like…you know…the fact that tons of decor is being loaded into the arena as we speak.
But a small corner of the internet has remained convinced that MSG is an elaborate ruse to keep everyone’s attention off Taylor and Travis’s “real” wedding location, and honestly there’s growing evidence to support that theory.
The biggest clue? TMZ spoke to wedding guest Anthony Jabin (he’s a plus-one), who let it slip that the ceremony and reception are both being held on July 3, “but not at the same venue.” According to Anthony, who’s a celeb memorabilia collector, only the reception is taking place at MSG, while the ceremony is taking place elsewhere.
Meanwhile, Us Weekly just dropped a report saying that guests “still do not know exactly where the wedding is actually taking place,” and on top of that they’ve been specifically told that MSG will be “used as a meeting place” and that the ceremony will be the “ultimate surprise.”
If MSG is, in fact, only being used for the reception, the ceremony would have to be somewhere very close by for the timing to work out. Guess we’ll see what happens?!
