Cosmopolitan and Prime Video Celebrate Our New Elle Woods

Who’s stepping into La Mercerie in SoHo on a Monday night, bright-eyed with blown-out blonde curls in a butterfly clipped half-do, a Mirchi by Kim turquoise beaded matching set, and a Kate Spade mini bag in hand? None other than one of our latest Cosmo cover stars, Lexi Minetree, as she steps into the role of a young Elle Woods, handpicked by Reese Witherspoon herself.

Last Monday night, Cosmopolitan and Prime Video teamed up to welcome the fashionably fab in anticipation of the July 1 premiere of the Legally Blonde prequel series, Elle. Guests including Nia Sioux, Caroline Vazzana, Ella Snyder, Cyrus Veyssi, Whitney Fransway, Iris Kendall, Olivia Parker, and Biz Sherbert joined cast members Chandler Kinney, Jacob Moskovitz, Zac Looker, Jessica Belkin, and Danielle Chand for a night inspired by the one who put Harvard Law School on the map while juggling textbooks and our very own magazines.

An evening of Cosmo Quizzes, Legally Blonde trivia, and tarot readings from astrologer and Cosmopolitan contributor Lisa Stardust had guests chatting about how you can have it all—brains and beauty. After the drinks flowed and guests jotted down notes for their next round of manifestations, the foray into the world of Elle wrapped up with an intimate dinner. You can see it all here.
