Posting the video on social media platform X, MP Krishnanagar took to Twitter and demanded stringent measures from the Ministry of Civil Aviation and the airline.
The controversy: 'Chor-Chor' slogans during a flight
According to reports, the incident took place on IndiGo flight number 6E 719 when the MP boarded the flight to attend a meeting of the Parliamentary Standing Committee on Defense.
Incident: As per the allegations of the MP, the alleged harassment happened on her boarding to the flight when a group of 4-6 persons began to target her.
Harassment: The MP stated that the group targeted her in the flight when they started staring at her as soon as she sat in seat number 1F.
Confrontation: Just as the flight landed and before opening the doors, the group allegedly surrounded the politician, filmed videos of the MP and began chanting slogans.
Sloganeering: In the footage provided by the MP for a duration of 30 seconds, people can be heard shouting "TMC Chor," "Bhaipo Chor," "Pishi Chor," and "Jai Shree Ram."

Moitra refers to it as 'harassment' and not 'public anger'
Ruling out any chances of it being an eruption of 'public anger' triggered by the recent elections, she called it an act of harassment.
"This is not an act of 'public anger.' This is harassment and infringement of my security in a flight. It is simply unacceptable that such poorly behaved people get away with such behavior in the confines of an aircraft," said Moitra in her post.
It was made further clear that as a passenger, she has been harassed in terms of compromising her safety in the restricted space of the aircraft.
Requirement for 'no-fly list' and government's ministry
The MP of the TMC has flagged off this issue to both, IndiGo, as well as, Civil Aviation Minister Ram Mohan Naidu, seeking an inquiry into the same as well as identifying the passengers who engaged in such misconduct.
Identification of the passengers: Identification of such misbehaving individuals has been sought by the MP.
No fly list: She wants these offenders added to the "No-Fly List" to ensure no more disturbances occur while flying.
Security breach: This MP emphasized that such conduct is not only disruptive but goes against the security protocol expected when preparing for and disembarking an aircraft.
