According to a statement by the Johor State Immigration Department, the man, who was residing in Malaysia on a suspected fake Employment Pass, was arrested at his home in the luxury Horizon Hills area of Iskandar Puteri.
The statement read:
“During an inspection conducted at a residence in the elite Horizon Hills area on 8 April, the subject was found with his Chinese wife and two sons, while an adult female Filipino national was cleaning the yard.”

The operation was deemed a success following a tip-off from the public, which prompted a period of intelligence gathering.

“Both the South Korean man and the Filipino national have been remanded for 14 days on suspicion of committing an offence under Section 15(1)(c) of the Immigration Act 1959/63, pending further investigation,” the department noted.
The Johor State Immigration Department reaffirmed its commitment to intensifying operations to combat illegal immigration and the agents behind the forgery of documents that violate Malaysian law.
