Malaysian Woman Believed to Be Mentally Unstable Trespasses Into House at Night, Sits on Couch & Smokes
by Azri Azizan · WORLD OF BUZZThe Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM) have confirmed that an incident involving a woman trespassing into a residence, which recently went viral on social media, is believed to involve an individual experiencing mental health issues.
Sungai Buloh District Police Chief Superintendent Mohd Hafiz Muhammad Nor said authorities received a report regarding the incident after the complainant lodged a police report at the Kampung Baru Subang Police Station at about 10:41 PM on Friday (10 April).

According to him, the incident gained widespread attention after footage of the alleged trespassing was shared on an X account. The woman was seen sitting casually on the couch while smoking.
“Following immediate action, the suspect was brought to the Sungai Buloh District Police Headquarters for further investigation,” he said in a statement on Saturday (12 April).
He added that initial investigations found that the woman was unable to provide clear statements and was suspected to be in an unstable mental condition.
“The suspect was subsequently referred to a hospital for an assessment of her mental health status,” he explained.
At present, the woman is receiving treatment in the psychiatric ward of a hospital in Selangor. In light of the situation, police have advised the public not to speculate about the incident out of respect for the suspect’s family.
“The public is also reminded to always ensure their homes are securely locked and to carry their keys with them to prevent any unwanted incidents,” he said.
He emphasised that negligence could lead to more serious security risks in the future.
