Man, 40s, shot dead in Dún Laoghaire in Dublin

The incident happened at around 8.30am at Patrician Park on Kill Avenue.
The body has been removed from the scene which remains sealed while the Garda Technical Bureau carries out an examination.
A post-mortem examination is due to take place and the Coroner has been notified.
A senior investigating officer has been appointed and an incident room has been set up at Dún Laoghaire Garda Station.
Gardaí have closed off some roads, including Kill Avenue and Glenageary Road Upper.
Local road diversions have been put in place, with Dublin Bus also warning of delays to its E2 route between Dún Laoghaire and Harristown.
Gardaí are conducting door-to-door inquires and are appealing for witnesses.
Labour Party Councillor Thomas Joseph said people in the area have been left shocked by the incident.
He said: "It's quite unfortunate. I haven't seen anything like this before, and people are shocked and scared.
"People are living very peacefully, and especially in this area, very community-oriented people talking to each other, but obviously, this is my first time hearing something like this it's a big shock.
"People are welcoming, and this area is a very positive part, but this is an absolute shock."
Local resident Anthony Byrne said he believed he saw the incident aftermath while driving home.
"It's very strange, very strange. I can't remember anything like this before, first time I've seen anything like this," he said.
Another resident Irene Haydon has lived in the area with her family for 25 years.
She said: "It's scary when it's on your doorstep, but you know it's something you read about, hear about in the news, you don't actually think it's going to be on your doorstep.
"It's alarming, it's a really quiet estate, mostly elderly or young kids.
"There's never been hassle ever, I've never heard of any and my husband grew up here as a child himself, so he's been here forever and there's never been anything like this."
Any road users who were travelling near Kill Avenue between 8am and 9am and may have camera footage, including dash-cam, have been asked to make it available to gardaí.
