Status Yellow wind warning for Cork and Kerry on Tuesday

Met Éireann has issued a Status Yellow wind warning for Cork and Kerry this Tuesday.

It has warned of very strong and gusty southeasterly winds, which could lead to difficult travelling conditions and some fallen trees and branches.

It also said there is the potential of debris and loose objects displaced.

Wave overtopping is also possible due to spring tides, surge and very strong onshore winds.

Status Yellow and Orange rain warnings for various counties earlier today have now expired.
