Drunk driver who killed bride on her wedding night whines like a child about arrest in new footage

The woman serving a lengthy prison term for drunkenly mowing down a new bride on her wedding night is seen moaning and wailing in rage-inducing new footage from inside the police station the night of her arrest.

Jamie Lee Komoroski, now 27, was bar-hopping in Folly Beach, South Carolina, before she got behind the wheel of her rented Toyota Camry and slammed the car into a golf cart carrying the bride, groom and two wedding guests as they left their beachside wedding reception on April 28, 2023.

She was driving 65 in a 25 mph zone at triple the legal blood-alcohol limit at the time of the crash, which killed bride Samantha Hutchinson, 34, and seriously injured her husband, Aric Hutchinson, 36, and their guests.

Komoroski took no responsibility at the scene, claiming she “didn’t do anything wrong” as she was taken into custody.

Her defiance continued at the Folly Beach police station, where she whined and cried like a child, demanding officers let her call her father in footage obtained by WCSC.

“I just wanna like, get this over with and go home,” she tearfully bellyached from a chair, her hands cuffed behind her back and wearing a sports bra, an open flannel shirt and torn black jeans.

“I can’t call my dad?” she asked, incredulously, before an officer told her she wasn’t allowed to make a phone call yet.

“Well, what did I do?” she asked, seemingly shifting her tactics to outright denial of the carnage she caused minutes earlier.

“Nobody has any proof of anything that I did, so give me the right to call my dad,” she commanded.

At that moment she appears to notice the wall-mounted camera in the room, which she addressed directly.

“Oh, hi camera, yeah I’m crying because he’s not letting me call my f–king father, even though they haven’t proven s–t and don’t have any right for me not to be able to contact my family or anyone that I want to, so yeah, hello, I’m crying,” she said to the inanimate object.

“Ooh, I’m being just a little baby,” she said, affecting a mocking tone.

Komoroski was sentenced to 25 years in prison after she pleaded guilty to felony DUI, two counts of DUI causing great bodily injury or death and reckless homicide.
