A shooting in late September in Achrafieh, Beirut, has brought renewed attention to Khalil Seblini, a man already known to security and judicial authorities. In December 2024, he was prosecuted by the military judiciary after hitting an Internal Security Forces (ISF) officer with his vehicle while the officer was on duty. He was detained and later released after a relatively short period in custody.The latest case has sparked numerous reactions on social media.
