The Iranian diaspora in France is more divided than ever over the war
Four years after a major protest movement, the commemoration of the killing of Mahsa Amini was particularly subdued.

The demonstration was organized by four left-wing groups: the Roja, Iran Justice, Azadi 4 Iran and AVA collectives. The crowd held placards reading “neither shah nor mullahs” and repeatedly chanted, “woman, life, freedom.” The gathering came just 10 days after the commemoration of Mahsa Amini’s death.
