Investigation underway after 1 killed in house fire in Fresno County, officials say

One person is dead following a house fire in Fresno County on Thursday.

The fire broke out after 11 a.m. on Gonser Street and Bliss Avenue in Laton, where an RV also caught fire.

Fire crews battled the blaze and found a victim inside the home. That person was pronounced dead at the scene.

It is unknown how the fire started.

The fire is under investigation.
