While Election Day is still a week away, early ballots are already being cast across the country. From issue-driven initiatives to consequential senate races, the stakes feel high.

The polls are polling. The talking heads are babbling. The candidates (and the president) are campaigning. But ultimately, it all comes down to you: the voters.

Whether you've mailed in your ballot, swung by a polling place or are preparing to vote in person on Nov. 3, we want to hear from you.

2026 midterms: What race is most important to you?

• What issue is most important to you this election? What issue or issues don't resonate with you? Why?
• Which races will you be following on election night? Which race do you think got too much attention this election cycle? Which election in your city or state is most important to you – and why?
• Who do you think will win control of the House? The Senate? Who do you think should win control? Why?

And if you've decided to sit this one out, tell us what led to that decision. What, if anything, would have persuaded you to cast a ballot? Do you plan to vote in 2028?
