Established in 1995, June Fest has grown into a cornerstone event in Newbridge’s cultural calendar, celebrating the rich creativity, diversity and community spirit of the town.

The festival brings together local artists, performers, community groups, schools and businesses to create an inclusive and welcoming experience for all.

Events will take place across a wide range of venues including Newbridge Town Hall, Riverbank Arts Centre, St. Patrick’s Church, Liffey Linear Park, Main Street, George’s Street, Market Square, the Curragh Racecourse, and the Irish National Stud & Gardens.

Annie Morris, Chairperson of June Fest, said: “Each year the festival brings more music, more art and more fun. The Crochet Olympics is a first this year along with the June Fest Writing competition, live music in St Patrick's and free art classes in the town hall. We're even hiding ten woolly sheep!

"'Where's Woolly' will be great craic for the whole family. Hopefully people will find something to enjoy.”

June Fest is proud to welcome back Life Credit Union as the Main Sponsor for 2026, marking their third consecutive year supporting the festival. June Fest also acknowledges the ongoing support received through LEADER funding and Kildare County Council’s Local Property Tax funding, which play an important role in supporting the delivery of the festival each year.

Julie Thornton, Head of Marketing at Life Credit Union, said: “We are proud to stand alongside the community of Newbridge once again as the main sponsor of June Fest. At Life CU our roots are built on people helping people, and we are committed to celebrating and investing in the people, energy and spirit that make June Fest so special. We look forward to another fantastic festival this year.”

Organisers are encouraging individuals, families, community groups and businesses to get involved in June Fest 2026. Whether attending events, volunteering, or supporting activities, there are many ways to be part of this unique community celebration.

June Fest continues to play a vital role in strengthening community connections, supporting local businesses and creating lasting memories for residents and visitors alike.
