Police investigate shooting involving officers in Tooele County

ERDA, Tooele County — Police in Tooele are investigating after officers were involved in a shooting near Erda on Wednesday afternoon.

At this time, police have not released information on what led to the shooting or any related injuries.

According to the Utah Department of Transportation, both directions of state Route 179 and Sheep Lane were closed due to the shooting.
