1 killed in Park City stabbing

PARK CITY — One person died Friday after a stabbing in Park City, police said.

About 8:35 a.m., officers responded to the report of a stabbing at the 500 block of Deer Valley Drive, Park City police said in a statement.

Two people were injured and taken to Salt Lake-area hospitals, police said. One of them died later Friday at a hospital.

"Based on the information currently available, this appears to be an isolated incident, and there is no ongoing threat to the public," police said.

Additional information including the identities of those involved has not yet been released.
