Idaho mother of 4 dies from injuries after severe crash near Idaho Falls
by Kaitlyn Hart eastidahonewscom · KSL.comIDAHO FALLS — The coroner has identified a Rigby woman who died from her injuries following a crash near Idaho Falls on Tuesday.
According to a Facebook post from the Bonneville County coroner, the woman was identified as Courtney Cramer, 30, of Rigby.
Idaho State Police responded to the crash about 4:30 p.m. at the intersection of North 3900 East and County Line Road.
Cramer was driving a silver 2018 Honda Odyssey northbound on North 3900 East when she failed to stop at a stop sign.
The minivan entered the intersection and was struck on the driver's side by a white 2026 Ford F-250 traveling east on County Line Road. The Ford was driven by a 59-year-old Rigby man.
Police said Cramer was not wearing a seat belt. The man driving the Ford was wearing his seat belt. Cramer was taken by ambulance to a local hospital but was later pronounced deceased on Wednesday.
The intersection was blocked for approximately three and a half hours while emergency crews worked at the scene. The crash remains under investigation by the Idaho State Police.
"Our sincere condolences to the family and friends who are affected by this loss," says the coroner's office.
According to a GoFundMe* organized for Cramer's family after her death, she leaves behind her husband, Kyle Cramer, and their four children.
"She was a loving wife, a devoted mother, and someone who meant more to our family than words can express," says the GoFundMe.
