John Loftus invites everyone to join 5km charity walk for Cliona’s Foundation

Limerick man John Loftus is inviting the public to join him for a 5km charity walk from the Great National South Court Hotel on Thursday, 1 October at 10.00am, as part of his year-long 2,000 km walking challenge in aid of Cliona’s Foundation.

John is undertaking the challenge between his 79th and 80th birthdays, raising funds and awareness for Cliona’s Foundation and the families they support throughout Ireland who are caring for seriously sick children.

The Great National South Court Hotel is supporting John’s efforts by hosting the 5km walk, with all proceeds going to Cliona’s Foundation.

John is particularly keen to emphasise that everyone is welcome. It is not about speed or fitness — it is about bringing people together, enjoying the walk and supporting a wonderful cause.

“I’d love to see as many people as possible come along. You don’t have to be a serious walker. Just come along, walk with us and enjoy the morning. Every person who joins us is helping Cliona’s and the families they support.”

The walk starts at 10.00am at the Great National South Court Hotel, Limerick, on Thursday, 1 October. All support is greatly appreciated.
