Body found at Boston residence owned by Rep. Pressley's husband
by Danielle Haynes · UPIJuly 19 (UPI) -- Boston police said they were investigating the discovery of a body at a multi-family home owned Rep. Ayanna Pressley's husband, Conan Harris.
Boston Police Department spokesman James Moccia told CBS News that police received a call at 1:52 p.m. Saturday "for a report to investigate a person." When officers arrived at the residence on Malta Street, they discovered a deceased person.
Moccia said the department's homicide unit was investigating the death.
WCVB-TV in Boston reported that the Suffolk County Registry of Deeds showed that the property was owned by Harris. A realtor for the property told the news outlet that the residence was a rental property and that the people who lived there had been there for a while.
The identity of the deceased person was not released.
Pressley's office issued a statement on the incident.
"The congresswoman extends her deepest condolences to the impacted family," a representative for Pressley told the Boston Herald.
