Biden visits Amazon rainforest, calls on future generations to protect wildlife
by Mark Moran · UPINov. 17 (UPI) -- U.S. President Joe Biden on Sunday called on future generations to safeguard and protect the wildlife and the delicate ecological balance in the Amazon rainforest while visiting the region.
"Today, I'm proud to be here, the first sitting U.S. president to visit the Amazon rainforest, to recommit protecting the rainforests like this one," Biden said during this stop on a South American tour.
