Traffic diversions in place for BJP’s padyatra on November 2

Traffic diversions will be in place from 1 pm to 7 pm.

Hyderabad: In view of the BJP’s padayatra from the BJR Statue to the MJ Market, traffic restrictions will be implemented between 1 pm and 7 pm on Monday, November 2.

The traffic will be regulated or diverted at the following places/routes on a need basis:

Traffic coming from AR Petrol Pump Junction towards BJR Statue will be diverted at AR Petrol Pump towards Nampally Railway Station and Ravindra Bharathi.

Traffic coming from Jambagh and Afzalgunj towards GPO Junction will be diverted at MJ Market towards Taj Island.

Traffic coming from Taj Island towards Old ABC Lane – Yousuf and Company – Troop Bazar towards Bank Street will be diverted at MJ Market towards Afzalgunj.

Traffic coming from the Old Ambedkar Statue towards the BJR Statue will be diverted at Liberty towards Himayatnagar.

Traffic coming from Himayatnagar towards the BJR statue will be diverted at Liberty towards the Old Ambedkar Statue, Tankbund.

Traffic coming from Rajareddy Marg and Old MLA Quarters towards the BJR Statue will be diverted at Basheerbagh Junction towards the Hyderabad Traffic Police Complex (Old Police Control Room).

Traffic coming from AR Petrol Pump and Nampally towards Chappel Road (Sujatha School Junction and SBI Road) will be diverted at Chappel Road T Junction towards Nampally and AR Petrol Pump.

Traffic coming from King Koti Junction towards Taj Mahal Hotel Junction, Abids, will be diverted at King Koti Junction towards Basheer Bagh and Boggulakunta.

Traffic will not be allowed towards Bata T Junction or Abids at Boggulakunta Junction and will be diverted towards King Koti and Mayur Pan Shop.

Traffic will not be allowed towards Stanley College, Sujatha School. Traffic at Red Rose Function Hall will be diverted towards Nampally X Roads and AR Petrol Pump.

Traffic will not be allowed from the MJ Market towards GPO and Nampally Station Road and will be diverted at MJ Market towards Nampally.

Traffic will not be allowed from the GPO to the MJ Market.

Junctions to be avoided during this time

Junctions such as Liberty, Ravindra Bharathi, Hyderabad Traffic Police Junction, AR Petrol Pump, Basheerbagh, BJR Statue Circle, SBI Gunfoundry, GPO, Nampally T Junction, Taj Island, MJ Market, Afzalgunj, Jambagh should be avoided.

• Karbala Jn, Secunderabad towards Ravindra Bharati via., Children Park, Lepakshi, Old Ambedkar Jn. and Iqbal Minar
• Katta maisamma and Chikkadpally stretch (to & Fro)
• Narayanguda and Liberty stretch (to & fro)
• Cemetery Jn. and HTP stretch via., Old MLA Qtrs, Basheerbagh X Road (to fro)
• Basheerbagh Jn and Kannaiah Hotel, Bank Street Stretch via., King Koti X Road, Eden Garden, Boggulakunta X Road and Mayuri Pan Shop.
• Ram Koti Jn. to Taj Mahal Hotel Jn., Abids stretch via., King koti X road, Continental Hotel.
• Ram Koti X Road and Bata, Abids stretch via., Boggulakunta X Road.

RTC bus routes

The RTC Buses plying from Ravindra Bharathi towards BJR Statue will be diverted at AR Petrol Pump towards Nampally Railway Station.

RTC Buses plying from MJ Market towards GPO will be diverted towards Taj Island.

Buses coming from Upper Tank Bund – Old Ambedkar Statue towards Liberty, will be diverted at Old Ambedkar Statue Jn towards Telugu Thalli Junction – Iqbal Minar – Ravindra Bharathi.

All district buses coming towards Ranigunj, Uppar Tank Bund will be diverted at CTO Jn. towards Rasool Pura, Begumpet.

Citizens are requested to take alternative routes to reach their destinations and avoid the above routes/junctions during the above specified timings and cooperate with the traffic police.
