Hyderabad: Two killed in Kollur as trolley hits municipal worker

The deceased were identified as Srinivas (30), a GHMC worker, and Srinath (28), the auto driver.

Hyderabad: Two persons were killed when a trolley auto rammed into a municipal worker watering trees on the Outer Ring Road (ORR) near Exit 2 within the limits of Kollur police station on Sunday, October 25.

The deceased were identified as Srinivas (30), a GHMC worker, and Srinath (28), the auto driver.

According to preliminary information, Srinivas was watering trees on the ORR median using a water tanker when the trolley auto, travelling at high speed from Kokapet towards Patancheru, hit him. The impact proved fatal for both Srinivas and Srinath.

Kollur police reached the spot, registered a case and launched an investigation. The bodies were shifted to the government hospital in Patancheru for post-mortem examination.
