Amid rain forecast, Cyberabad police urges staggered office exits
Further, it said that since rainfall was expected during the afternoon to late evening, the staggered logouts must preferably be completed by 4 pm.
by News Desk · The Siasat DailyHyderabad: With moderate to heavy rainfall predicted for the next few days, the Cyberabad Traffic Police issued an advisory on Tuesday, November 3, suggesting staggered logouts to all IT firms and other organisations within the Cyberabad area, beginning at 2 pm.
It said this was being suggested by “keeping in view the safety and well-being of employees, business continuity, the possibility of severe traffic congestion, and the need to ensure the uninterrupted movement of emergency services”.
It also requested the firms to implement these early exits up to Thursday, November 5. Further, it said that since rainfall was expected during the afternoon to late evening, the staggered logouts must preferably be completed by 4 pm.
It said organisations could also consider the Work From Home option for these three days.
This would, it said, “minimise travel-related risks, reduce pressure on road infrastructure, and support the smooth functioning of essential services during adverse weather conditions”.
For better traffic management, the advisory also asked organisations to inform their location, as well as early logout plans, via email to cybtrcc@gmail.com.
