Mumbai: Looks like Aamir Khan is all set to change his address! Just a few months after tying the knot with Gauri Spratt, the Bollywood superstar is reportedly preparing to move out of his current Mumbai residence. And no, this isn’t because of marital troubles. The actor is said to be looking for a new home following a redevelopment project involving his present building.

According to reports, Aamir Khan and his wife Gauri Spratt are exploring new residential options in Mumbai and could shift into another rented apartment by the end of 2026 or early 2027.

Why is Aamir Khan shifting homes?

Aamir and Gauri are currently living in a rented property in Mumbai’s Pali Hill area. The actor reportedly occupies four apartments in the building, which has now entered into a redevelopment agreement.

With the redevelopment work expected to move forward, the couple is said to be looking for another place to stay. Reports further suggest that their next residence is already undergoing renovation and will be customised to suit their requirements.

Interestingly, this is not the first time Aamir has had to relocate because of redevelopment.

Actor’s permanent home may take years to be ready

Around 18 months ago, the actor moved out of his permanent residence in Union Park after the property became part of a redevelopment project.

His home is located in the Bella Vista and Marina Apartments complex, which is currently undergoing redevelopment. The project is expected to take several years, with reports suggesting that Aamir’s new residence could be ready around 2030.

Until then, the actor is likely to continue living in rented accommodation.

Aamir Khan planning a ‘sky villa’ for family?

Adding to the buzz around his residential plans, reports suggest that Aamir is considering a larger family home, reportedly described as a ‘sky villa’.

The actor is said to be exploring the possibility of acquiring additional apartments in the redevelopment project to accommodate his extended family. However, these details about his future property plans have not been officially confirmed.
