Karimnagar police arrested two more accused in the PMJ Jewellery dacoity case, taking the total number of arrests in the investigation to eight.

Karimnagar Superintendent of Police Gaush Alam said that the custody of the five main accused — Subodh Singh, Raghunath, Ravish, Amar Singh and Zainulabdeen — who were remanded to six days of police custody on June 17, will end on Tuesday.
During the investigation, police seized a pistol, a magazine, the motorcycle used in the crime, five pairs of clothes allegedly worn by the accused during the robbery, three pairs of shoes, three fake vehicle registration certificates (RCs) and a Redmi mobile phone.
Based on information provided by accused Raghunath, police recovered the TVS Apache motorcycle used in the offence from near Ballarsha railway station in Maharashtra.
Police said that three of the five individuals who allegedly entered the showroom and carried out the robbery after opening fire have now been arrested. The latest arrest is that of 21-year-old Suryamani alias Sanoj Kumar, who was apprehended on the outskirts of Karimnagar.
Acting on disclosures made by the accused during interrogation, investigators recovered evidence from near temporary construction sheds along the SRSP canal in Ramadugu mandal. The seized items included clothing and footwear allegedly used by the accused on the day of the crime.
Fake RC cards, phone, pistol and magazine recovered
Police also recovered three fake two-wheeler RC cards, a Redmi mobile phone, a pistol and a magazine that had been concealed at the location.
In a separate development, the eighth accused, Mohammed Adil Khan, was arrested in Bihar. Police said a transit warrant has been sought from a local court to bring him to Telangana for further investigation.
According to investigators, Khan allegedly supplied a car and firearms to the accused and assisted key accused Zainulabdeen in planning and executing the robbery.
Further investigation is underway.
