2 hospitalized after North Las Vegas crash, police say

Two people were hospitalized from a crash that occurred in North Las Vegas Tuesday night, police said.

At 6 p.m., the North Las Vegas Police Department responded to a crash involving a passenger van and commerical vehicle near the intersection of East Lake Mead Boulevard and Civic Center Drive, the department said. The crash caused a temporary closure of East Lake Mead Boulevard.

The condition of the occupants transported to the hospital was not immediately made available. The investigation remains ongoing.
