Police look for carjacking suspect after crash in east Las Vegas Valley

Las Vegas police are searching for a carjacking suspect early Monday after the suspect reportedly crashed the stolen vehicle and fled.

Police said in a text message that the incident occurred at about 5:10 a.m. near Oakey Boulevard and Eastern Avenue.

Authorities said the suspect caused a crash after fleeing in a stolen vehicle. The suspect then fled on foot, police said, noting that they are still outstanding.
