Police investigate homicide in west Las Vegas Valley

Metropolitan Police Department officers arrived to find the unresponsive man lying in the parking lot of a business in the 2000 block of North Buffalo Drive near West Lake Mead Boulevard.
Officers found the male suffering from an unknown type of puncture wound, according to a Sunday release. Medical responded and pronounced the victim deceased at the scene.
Detectives determined the victim had been in the area with two other males who were seen fleeing before the victim was discovered, according to police.
The Clark County coroner’s office is expected to release the victim’s name and cause of death at a later date.
