Pedestrian killed in crash near downtown Las Vegas, police say

An adult male pedestrian involved in a crash near downtown Saturday night died at the scene, police said.

The Nevada Highway Patrol responded to a report of a crash just before 11 p.m. involving an SUV and a pedestrian on northbound Interstate 11 near the Martin Luther King Boulevard on-ramp. The pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene, according to the Highway Patrol.
