And the winner is ….

Two weeks ago we asked for your suggestions to name an NBA expansion team.

Last week we offered the most popular names in a poll that we kept up for a week.

Your favorite Las Vegas NBA nickname is (drumroll, please) is … Scorpions.

Our poll received almost 2,000 votes and Scorpions was far and away the most popular with 900 votes.

The closest name to Scorpions was Vipers (453).
