A dispute between a vehicle’s driver and their passenger led to a vehicle slamming into an apartment building and other vehicles early Friday morning in the central Las Vegas Valley, leaving one person with life-threatening injuries, police said.

The crash occurred in the 4800 block of Twain Avenue near Decatur Boulevard.

“A male and female were driving in a black BMW when they got into a verbal argument,” Metropolitan Police Department Lt. J. Edens said. “During the argument the male who was operating the vehicle crashed into several vehicles and possibly a pedestrian.”

Edens said when officers arrived they found a citizen on the sidewalk with moderate injuries to his arms and face. He was transported to an area hospital.

“While being treated his condition was changed to life-threatening,” Edens said.

A corner of an apartment building was torn off, and two vehicles were observed with heavy damage in the crash.
