LETTER: Can we take two more years?

by · Las Vegas Review-Journal

The Reflecting Pool issues were caused by vandals, the Strait of Hormuz is open, $5 a gallon is a small price to pay. When are we going to wake up and realize that we can’t afford two more years of this?

Accepting jets from a foreign country, awarding no-bid contacts to friends, even starting a war, which he promised he wouldn’t do. It is a slap in the face to those who trusted him.

President Donald Trump has depleted our nation’s ability to defend itself by depleting our munitions. He has compromised our Navy’s morale. He pardons sex offenders, drug smugglers, tax evaders and anybody who contributes big money to his campaigns. He enriches himself and his family while we struggle to make ends meet. Our government’s ability to be believed is non-existent, and he wants his name on everything without earning it.

Again: How long are we going to put up with this?
