Las Vegas sheriff shares additional info on officer killed in the line of duty — WATCH LIVE

Metropolitan Police Department Sheriff Kevin McMahill is providing additional information Wednesday on the officer killed Tuesday in the line of duty.

The Nevada Police Foundation identified the officer as Austin Abdelnabi, 30, who died Tuesday afternoon following a gunbattle with an armed suspect in the east Las Vegas Valley.

The gunman also was killed.
