1 dead in motorcycle crash in east Las Vegas

One person was killed Thursday afternoon in a crash involving a motorcycle in east Las Vegas.

Metropolitan Police Department officers responded just before 5:40 p.m. Thursday to a crash near Lamb Boulevard and Karen Avenue, police said.

One driver was pronounced dead at the scene and another was transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, police said.
