Impairment suspected after driver crashes into bus in central Las Vegas

Impairment is suspected after a driver crashed into a bus early Monday morning in the central Las Vegas Valley, police say.

Lt. Shanon Zimney of the Metropolitan Police Department said in a text message that the crash occurred around 4:40 a.m. near Spring Mountain Road and South Decatur Boulevard.

Zimney said the driver sustained minor injuries and that impairment is suspected.

According to police, two people were on the bus at the time of the crash, but neither was injured.
