Drivers are being asked to take an alternate route after an oil tanker flipped and is leaking oil at a Plano intersection on Friday, police say.
A crash involving a sedan and an oil tanker has shut down Northbound Windhaven Parkway and Eastbound Spring Creek Parkway until further notice, according to Plano PD.
Officials are asking drivers to seek alternate routes while crews work.
Plano Police, Plano Hazmat crew and Plano Fire Rescue are on the scene working to contain the spill and prevent it from entering the storm drain system, Plano Fire Department said in a statement.
Two people were transported to a hospital in stable condition.
