Person killed in targeted attack, Forney police search for suspects at large

Preliminary investigation into the shooting leads authorities to believe this incident was a targeted attack.

A person is dead after what police believe was a targeted attack inside a home in Forney on Sunday afternoon.

Forney police said the fatal shooting happened inside a residence in the 300 block of Eagle Ridge Road.

Authorities are searching for two suspects at large:

• Black man, about 6’ - 6’1” wearing all black
• Lighter-skinned black man, also tall, wearing a grey shirt and a black mask.

Police said they may have been able to escape in a vehicle immediately after the shooting.
