Police searching for suspect after officer-involved shooting incident

The suspect fled the area, and no officer was injured, police said.

Dallas police are searching for a suspect after an officer-involved shooting incident on Park Lane on Friday morning.

According to the Dallas Police Department, officers responded to a call near 8500 Park Lane shortly after 7 a.m.

Police said the suspect encountered an officer at the scene, and the officer opened fire.

The suspect, identified as 37-year-old Isidoro Melo-Munoz, is believed to have stabbed a woman at the scene and fled, police said.

According to police, Munoz is described as a Hispanic male, approximately 5’ 5” tall and weighing 140 pounds.

Police said anyone who sees Munoz should call 911.

No officers were injured during the incident, police said.
