Denton's Anthony Hill officially signs with the Tennessee Titans
Hill was selected 60th overall by Tennessee last month
by Charles Nichelson · 5 NBCDFWThe Tennessee Titans announced they signed second-round pick Anthony Hill Jr. to his four-year rookie contract.
Hill was a five-star recruit at Denton Ryan and was rated the second-best linebacker in the nation in the Class of 2023. He had 303 tackles, 13 sacks and nine forced fumbles, while also rushing for 378 yards and 13 touchdowns over three years at Denton Ryan, and he won a state championship in 2020 while leading the team in tackles (7.5), tackles for loss (2.0) and sacks (2.0) and scoring a rushing touchdown in a 59-14 win over Cedar Park in the state final.
Hill was selected with the 60th overall pick out of Texas.
Hill spent the last three seasons at Texas and closed out his time in Austin with 69 tackles, seven tackles for loss, four sacks, two interceptions, three forced fumbles, and a fumble recovery during the 2025 season. He was a finalist for the Butkus Award, which goes to the nation's top linebacker, and a second-team All-American for the second year in a row.
In 2024, Hill earned second-team AP All-American honors after leading the team with 113 tackles, eight sacks and 16.5 tackles for a loss.
Hill played in 40 games and accumulated 249 tackles, seven sacks, and 31.5 tackles for a loss at Texas.
Hill and the other rookies joined the veterans in the offseason program this week. They'll be on the field for OTAs next week in Nashville.
