Shooting involving police reported in North Dallas

Dallas Police are investigating a shooting involving a police officer in a residential neighborhood near Forest Lane and Preston Road.

According to police, the shooting took place on the 5900 block of Williamstown Road.

Police said no injuries have been reported, but there is still a large police presence in the neighborhood.
