Arrest warrants issued for Hebron High School employee on indecency, child grooming charges
Lewisville ISD says Gloria Resendiz remains on administrative leave and is prohibited from entering district facilities as Carrollton police continue their investigation
by Hannah Jones · 5 NBCDFWArrest warrants have been issued for a Hebron High School employee on charges of indecency with a child by sexual contact and child grooming, according to a message Lewisville ISD sent to families.
The district identified the employee as Gloria Resendiz and said the Carrollton Police Department informed school officials that the warrants had been issued as part of an ongoing investigation.
According to Lewisville ISD, Resendiz remains on administrative leave from the district and is "strictly prohibited from entering any district facility."
The district said it will continue to cooperate with Carrollton police as the investigation continues.
Lewisville ISD said the district does not have additional information about the investigation and directed further questions about the case to the Carrollton Police Department.
"If you or your student has any information you believe may be important, we want to encourage you to reach out to CPD or a trusted adult at school," the message to Hebron families said.
The district also said Hebron High School counselors are available to support students and staff who may need assistance in response to the situation.
No additional details about the allegations or the circumstances surrounding the investigation were provided by the district.
